The Leesburg Animal Park

Opened in 2000, Leesburg Animal Park is a family-operated and owned business situated at 19246 James Monroe Hwy in Leesburg, Virginia. Complete with a huge variety of exotic and domestic animals, birds, reptiles, and many more, the 21-acres animal park offers a lot of personal and close-up animal experiences all year round. Visitors are invited to hand-feed, pet, and meet a range of animal friends including Serval Cats, Ring-Tailed Lemurs, and Giant Tortoises. Roam everywhere with farm animals such as llamas, sheep, and goats at the park's Contact Area. Additionally, Leesburg Animal Park presents wagon rides, pony rides, camel rides, and annual seasonal events.

Pumpkinville is a fall festival annual event hosted by the Leesburg Animal Park from September to November. Pumpkinville's activities include moon bounces, hayrides, hay maze, face painting, live entertainment, giant hill slides, and other fall-themed ventures. Halloween trick or treating and costume contests are also held during late October. Celebrate the festive season with the animals at the Christmas Village of Leesburg Animal Park. Visitors can enjoy live nativity scenes, photos with Santa, candy cane express rides, Christmas crafts and art room, holiday photos with animals, marshmallows and bonfire, and the countless outdoor holiday lights of the park.

The Junior Zookeeper Summer Camp is a popular summer and an adventurous event for kids in the county. The Junior Zookeepers helps in cleaning, grooming, and feeding the animals of Leesburg Animal Park while absorbing the responsibilities following animal care. In addition to physical care and learning conservation and habitats, the park covers educational sessions from the Keepers and amusing crafts and arts.

Spring Animal Festival is an exciting event packed with entertaining activities such as farrier demo, shearing demo, wool spinning, and pony bathing. Leesburg Animal Park also presents demonstrations to highlight how technology is utilized to promote farm sustainability. Other events held at the park include easter egg hunts, day camps, animal expeditions, family nights, fishing derby, and wine & wildlife.

Leesburg Animal Park is a unique, fun place for corporate events, field trips, or birthday parties as well. The park offers special events options, party packages, and group rates. Guests can book any type of event including group visits, fall festival birthday packages, and safari birthday packages. Zoo-To-You, for three decades, has supplied animals to several of the region's largest festivals and fairs.

This affair has been a unique part of numerous school events and birthday parties in Leesburg. For the safety of the public, Zoo-To-You is USDA licensed and fully insured. Each package contains a minimum of one animal handler, clean-up, and setup. Staff can stay on-site around the zoo to enlighten the children and adults about the animals. Different packages are available depending on the size of the event however custom packages can also be set up to suit your event and needs.

With Leesburg Animal Park's mission of increasing the understanding and appreciation of animals by offering a family-friendly and fun educational program and animal park that embrace interactive experiences with a range of animal species, supporting wildlife is a top priority of the park. The park sponsors organizations, campaigns, and conservation efforts that protect and maintain wildlife all over the world.

The Conservation Corner of the park unfolds various ways to help global conservation efforts including Macaw Recovery Network, Gibbon Conservation Center, Save The Rhino, Semper K9, and Bushfire Wildlife Support and Rescue. Internship programs - Animal Care and Conservation Education - are also offered at Leesburg Animal Park which allows experience with exotic and large animals to attain requirements or improve your resume while pursuing a career in conservation, education, or zoos.
